Select Flexible Benefits.

Personalisation of the benefits package is of increasing importance. The changing needs of employees with regard to employment contracts, combined with the tight labour market, are changing the role of HR departments. In addition, your needs as an employee differ greatly depending on the stage of life you are in.

More and more employers are therefore offering their employees the opportunity to put together their own benefits package. This concept is also known as flexibele benefits or a cafeteria model. Here, employees are given the freedom to design the benefits package according to their own needs. Besides having a positive impact on employee satisfaction, flexible working conditions also offer attractive tax benefits.

Understandably, you have questions like:

“What is the added value for implementing flexible benefits? Where should I start? What are the legal and tax frameworks to consider? What practical issues should I consider when selecting terms of employment?”

How we help.

Before implementing flexible working conditions, the legal and tax perspectives are explored. Through a preliminary study, we map out the possibilities for your organisation. If your organisation is covered by a collective labour agreement, additional conditions may apply. We do this in collaboration with our colleagues, the legal and fiscal experts of SD Worx the Netherlands. The preliminary study will give you a clear understanding of the possibilities. If required, we can offer advice on the commonly used practices. We draw knowledge from our many years of experience and similar processes for a variety of organisations.

While streamlining the selection process, we include several aspects, for both the employee and employer. We highlight the employment conditions of the cafeteria model to your employees. We take into account the employee’s individual schemes and budgets. On the other hand, we include the employer regulations.

The selection process.

The selection process is fully automated in which we assist employees step-by-step through the application, thus avoiding submitting a wrong application. As applications are automated, the HR department is relieved of the administrative load. For example, an employee who is not entitled to a company car does not see anything about this in the system.

After application, the employee is informed about the status of their choice. An additional advantage is that the employee immediately sees the tax benefit of his or her choice.

Because we work with an open eco system, we can create links to and from our system. This offers the possibility of exporting your employees’ choices to your core HR system to process changes immediately.
